CHARLOTTE SECTIONAL – Four days, May 28-31 filled with Silver points. We hope you are all making plans to play in it. If you need help with partners, please check with Bruce Bedient. B K Chopra is our chairperson and would appreciate any help you can give him. It takes a lot to make sure the tournament goes smoothly – starting with setting up tables, helping keep food tables clean and organized, clean up during and after games, help with parking, etc. Also, we always hope that many of you will bring some nice treat/refreshment (or may donate cash). Hope to see you all there!

LIBRARY – Jane Felton donated a book to the library in memory of Mel Fox - The Extra Edge in Play at Bridge – Eric Rodwell & Audrey Grant. (Note- whoever checked it out – please follow club procedures of signing for it and returning it in timely fashion).

GET WELL – Mary Hull fell at home and broke her hip. She underwent surgery and is now at rehab. Hopefully, she will be back with us very soon!

GROCERY COUPONS – Felix Germuth has placed a basket under the bulletin boards. She is asking you to place newspaper coupons (cut out) that you don’t use. Felix is mailing these to our U.S. soldiers abroad who can use them at the PX. They will take up to 6 months expired.

SPECIAL GAMES – Wednesday, May 13^th at 12:30 there will be an ACBL International Fund Game.

Saturday, June 6^th has been set for Awards Day. There will be a Pot Luck lunch beginning at 12:30.
